Overview
We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused team member to help maintain clean, sanitary livestock trailers and support basic livestock handling operations. This role plays an important part in biosecurity, animal health, and day-to-day farm support.
Responsibilities
Wash and disinfect livestock trailers (interior, exterior, and components)
Remove manure, shavings, and debris using pressure washing equipment
Assist with loading market hogs at local farms
Help with pig vaccinations (training provided)
Support animal handling and farm site tasks as needed
Assist with deceased animal pickup and composting
Follow all safety and biosecurity procedures
Schedule
Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Weekend rotation for chores and pickup routes
Requirements
Valid, insurable driver’s license
Able to perform physical work in a variety of environments (indoor and outdoor)
Reliable and willing to work as part of a team
No experience required — training provided
